Why do people believe in existence of things beyond the reckoning of scientific explanation?

Because those people let their emotions guide those beliefsWhy do people believe in existence of things beyond the reckoning of scientific explanation?
Because science is limited to the study, observation and mathematical modelling of this physical world and cannot account for everything

Theories come and go so what's accepted one day gets replaced by something else later on

And it's pretty much a given that although science may one day be able to explain all the rules in this world it will never be able to explain where these rules came from

Personal experience on the other hand hints that there is more to life than this physical world
Because there are something that are beyond scientific explanation!! Science is never the only answer! While science is amazing and can give us great insight, there are just some things that cannot be explained!! There are way to many things in life that are miraculous and it would be naive to say it is all just coincidence or scientific!!Why do people believe in existence of things beyond the reckoning of scientific explanation?
You mean, like once some people believed that the Earth was spheroid in shape (before it could be explained scientifically)?

You mean, like once some people believed that bumble bees could fly (which stumped scientists for decades)?

Answer: usually people believe such things because it is practical to believe such things - things like "bumble bees can fly" and "the Earth is not flat".

Science can't account for everything in the universe. There's still plenty yet to be discovered.
It fills a need to feel created by some super being.
Because Science is not God, but only a Gift from God.
it's called faith.
because there is more to life than can be explained by science
