Neither. the six spires on the Salt Lake Temple, represent the restoration of the priesthood. The three east spires, representing the Melchizedek Priesthood, are six feet higher than the three west spires, representing the Aronic Priesthood.

Not exactly. Mormons know that demons are fallen angels, so they put up those spires to impale any falling angels who might later become demons to protect the rest of the world.
